After about 17 years in practice, garnering experience in a broad range of legal work which included conveyancing, litigation, corporate matters, intellectual property, probate, criminal and family law, she joined a major property developer/hotelier.
As group legal counsel, Selina was key in advising on issues arising from the corporation’s real estate/hospitality businesses. She was also part of a team that made representations to the Select Committee on the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Bill before it was passed in 2004. Since returning to practice in 2010, Selina has mainly been handling conveyancing matters, providing advice to and acting for various parties in property transactions, apart from representing developers in various development projects. She has been a tutor for the Real Estate Practice module of the SILE’s Preparatory Course leading to Part B of the Singapore Bar Examinations and is a member of the Law Society's Conveyancing Practice Committee. |
